Class Profile

Our diverse Penn State Smeal Executive DBA cohort comprises of exceptional individuals hailing from various U.S. states, including California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, New York, Oregon, and Pennsylvania, and boasts an average age of 47 and an impressive 22 years of work experience. We take pride in our 28% representation of underrepresented minorities, 22% women, 15% international students, and 20% veterans. Representing a wide range of industries such as automotive, construction, consulting, financial services, food & beverage, government/military, healthcare, insurance, and technology, our students contribute unique perspectives and insights to classroom discussions and collaborative projects. With research focus areas in Management & Leadership (50%), Supply Chain (20%), Entrepreneurship (12%), Information Systems/Technology (12%), and Accounting (6%), our program offers a comprehensive curriculum that caters to a variety of professional interests and aspirations.
